What actually decides whether it works
Price is the easy part. These are the points that decide whether the water is safe, the plant keeps running and the business is legal.
Size the plant on a water test, not a guess
Iron, hardness, salts and bacteria each need a different treatment, and a plant built for the wrong water fouls its membranes in weeks. A proper lab test of your source is the first step and it is cheap next to the plant. We send the result to the manufacturer and size from it.
Drilling is regulated, and the geology decides the rig
Depending on how much you abstract, a borehole may need to be registered or licensed with the Department of Water and Sanitation. Hard rock needs an air rig with a big compressor; soft ground can use mud rotary. Tell us the area and expected depth and we match the rig to it.
Bottled water is a regulated foodstuff
Selling bottled water means meeting the food regulations for it, including a certificate of acceptability for the premises and regular testing. The machines are the easy part. We specify food-grade stainless contact parts and clean-in-place where it matters, but the licensing is yours to arrange.
On reverse osmosis, the membrane is the product
Two plants with the same frame can use very different membranes. Ask the membrane brand and model, the recovery rate and the expected life on your water, in writing. A cheap membrane that needs replacing every year is not cheap.
Ice machines are sized on your hottest day
Ice output falls as the air and water get warmer, and the rated figure is usually at mild conditions. Size on a hot December afternoon, choose water or air cooling to suit your site, and plan storage for the busy hours.
You're trading the dealer network for the price
That's the honest trade. There is no branded technician on standby. Keep spare membranes, UV lamps, seals and filter media on the shelf, and budget for a local plumber or technician who knows pumps and valves.

What do I need to start a bottled water business?
Treatment, filling and capping, labelling, a clean room for filling, and the licences for the premises and the product. We quote the equipment as a complete line sized to your bottles per hour, and tell you plainly which approvals are yours to arrange.
Can you supply a borehole drilling rig?
Yes, sized to the depth and geology you will be drilling. Tell us the area and typical depths and we match the rig and compressor. Registration or a licence for the water use is a separate matter with the Department of Water and Sanitation.
How long do reverse osmosis membranes last?
It depends on your water and how well the pre-treatment protects them. We ask the manufacturer for the expected life on your water test and put it on the quote.
Do you install?
Delivery is in the landed price. Installation is by a local plumber or technician, and for larger lines the manufacturer can send an engineer at a daily rate plus travel, priced as a separate line.
